I recently acquired one of the Vintage Airsoft Sten Mark V conversion kits. It took a little bit of fettling to get all the parts to fit, but it all went together very well.
It certainly looks the part and it is easy enough to reassemble as a Mark II. The wood parts are already oiled and look fabulous.
The foresight is a real No. 4 with a custom liner to fit the barrel. This is quite a tight fit so I had to sand it down a bit.
The foregrip and heat guard band are custom parts, the band needed a bit of gentle persuasion to get it into place but it went on fine in the end.
The stock and handgrip are custom parts, and I had to take the back of the receiver off to thread the connector cables in. Otherwise I just had to chisel off a bit more wood from the handgrip to get it to fit against the trigger guard and once I'd done that, it all fitted together perfectly.
Looking forward to trying it out in December!

Looks lovely, wood doesn't look bad either. Is the magazine the same size as a vsr one or smaller. Looking at it, it looks like it might be a bit smaller.

So far seems to fly nice and straight, a bit hot but that was expected, ordered a 110 spring already.

Bit smaller than VSR mags iirc, and check this out
You can easily fit two or maybe three of these in each compartment of an arisaka pouch, two pouches with two compartments each on Japanese belt order means you can carry 8 or 12 mags in the correct (and easily accessible) pouches!

Tried them in a number of different pouches
Austro-Hungarian/Bulgarian 1895 Mannlicher pouches - 1 per cell
German 1909 Mauser pouches - 1 per cell
Soviet 1936 regulation Mosin pouches - 3+ per cell
Japanese type-38 pouches - 2+ per cell
All of them fit to a greater or lesser degree, the Mannlicher ones don't fit great on account of the unusual shape of the pouches, the bucket-like Soviet ones might hold 4-per-cell at a bit of a squeeze, which is handy seeing as you only get one 2 cell pouch on wartime Soviet belt order.

Still drooling over that Arisaka - however, 2x G43 puches, cap cockade and cap all on their way. So only things I need are the ubiquitous breadbag and a canteen

I seem to have done a fair bit of shopping in recent weeks, so let me see:
Luftwaffe Field Div collar tabs, Herman Goering Div collar tabs and cuff title.
Richard Underwood Luftwaffe gaiters in dark blue grey (lovely bits of kit).
A Japanese M98 summer uniform and insignia which will do nicely for WW2 and Indochina.
A (very) shiny pair of DMS boots to replace my poor old disintegrating ammo boots and my disintegrating BCHs. Some TLC will be needed on these to dull them. First coat of dubbin on already.
Lovat Scouts Atholl beret and cap badge.
Officers and EM (original) British side caps, plus appropriate cap badges. Royal Engineers (maternal grandfather) and Royal West Kents (Great uncle).
Original WW1 officers SD cap, which is hand made and utterly beautiful but needed some repairs.
A nice bicorne (don't ask).
